The filter show my assigned elements don't seem to have any effect whle the elements are being assigned.

A work around is
Once the elements are assigned de-activated and re-activated the filter

I cannot seem to be able to reproduce the problem.  If assignments are changed for elements, the filter is immediately applied properly

Shall not be in Assigned state if assigned to default r4e-triaged
