Description Tim Buschtoens CLA 2012-02-09 08:04:29 EST
The SWT.Verify event is not fired on Text widget when the setText (internally: setValue) method is used.
Comment 1 Tim Buschtoens CLA 2012-10-09 05:54:48 EDT
Should be checked against RWT and SWT. Possibly it's the same there.
Comment 2 Tim Buschtoens CLA 2013-03-29 10:08:56 EDT
In SWT it is fired on programmatic changes.
Comment 3 Tim Buschtoens CLA 2013-08-22 09:00:47 EDT
I already used this "bug" in some cases to identify whether or not a change in Text was triggered by the user or not. That is no reason not to fix it, but the possibility should remain.
