Description Nagia El Haraki CLA 2003-04-30 13:16:18 EDT
Selection using Ctrl + <arrow> highlights the wrong text. Even when the right
text is selected (using mouse), the highlighted parts are messed up and shows
rubbish.

Looks good to me in Java editor (which is LTR) but strange in standard text editor.
Comment 2 Felipe Heidrich CLA 2008-04-17 14:06:54 EDT
Version 2.1 ? That is very old eclipse. We didn't support bidi on gtk back in 2.1.

More info needed:
Is the text bidi (arabic+english mix) ?
What is the text ?
What Editor (JavaEditor / TextEditor) ?
Version of Eclipse ?
Version of GTK/Pango/Cairo ?
Version of Linux ?
Locale ?
Run eclipse with -nl ar or -dir rtl ?
Screenshot would be good. Thanks.
