The restructuring review was declared successful (see Bug 369414). Steffen or David, please detail the steps that need to be undertaken the complete the move. Webmaster and Sharon (copied) will assist.

From my point of view the easiest way to do this would be to commit the current state of the org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.index* bundles that are currently in the Mylyn Incubator to the Mylyn Tasks repository. We would then delete the code from the Incubator. This would retain the history in the Mylyn Incubator but further development would happen in Mylyn Tasks.

Does that sound reasonable?

Sure.

I see that the committer election for David has already completed.

Are there any Bugzilla or IPZilla records that need to be moved?
Comment 3 Steffen Pingel CLA 2012-02-08 16:50:32 EST
I have moved bug 191522 and bug 365224 to Mylyn Tasks already. No other Bugzillas need to be moved.

I have filed CQ 6244 for the Lucene dependency. We hadn't filed that for the Incubator since the feature hadn't been released, yet.

You need a CQ for any third-party library referenced by any project code, regardless of whether or not the feature is released.

Thanks for the clarification. We generally file CQs prior to consuming dependencies but I had mistakenly assumed we could wait in the case of the Incubator. I'll keep it in mind for the future.
Comment 6 Steffen Pingel CLA 2012-02-09 12:51:08 EST
We have completed the move.
