While fixing bug 369709 few performance flaws have been discovered. One of them was BaseIndexConverter#getIndexLocation() , which takes more time then expected. We should have a look at all converters as they are called quite often.

This does not seem to affect performance dramatically as bug 370941 and bug 375925.
