I would be great if there was a way to install an Orion plugin from somewhere with the URI template style like the Fork at OrionHub example.

Susan said it could be done pending some changes in Bug 366510

I love building blocks.
I fixed bug the two blockers and then it "just worked."

So you can use a URL like this:
http://orion.eclipse.org:8080/settings/settings.html#plugins?installPlugin=somePluginURL

This URL will probably change per bug 358769
