As part of a restructuring (bug 364860, bug 368844) the R4E component was separated from the Mylyn Reviews project into a sub-sub project and sources were moved into a separate Git repository. 

As discussed and approved on the mylyn-reviews-dev mailing list, we would now like to remove the moved R4E sources from the Mylyn Reviews repository. We have already created a repository following the steps recorded in Bugzilla (bug 369630)  that has a filtered history.

To complete the move we need to replace the existing repository with the new repository as the last step (by renaming directories):

Old: /gitroot/mylyn/org.eclipse.mylyn.reviews.git
New: /gitroot/mylyn/org.eclipse.mylyn.reviews.new.git

For safe keeping and in case anything was missed it would be nice to retain the old repository in a backup location (at least for a while).
