With the fix for bug 247564, we introduced null related warnings for fields, but only for the fields of the current object or the current type (in case of static final fields). We want to investigate widening the scope to include field references from other objects as well.

As we have backed out the current implementation and reopened
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=247564, the
current bug has lost its relevance and can be closed as
INVALID.
