When i start working on a given day one of the first things I want to do is fetch the latest code from the remote and see what's going on.

Here's what I find myself doing:
- select org.eclipse.orion.client
- scroll down to the remotes
- think...where is the git log button...think...oh yeah, need a branch
- scroll up to branches
- press see all branches
- scroll to remote branches

It would be really nice if we showed the remote tracking branch in the initial branches list along with the local one.

I realize that I can just git log on the local and then switch to the remote from the log page, but it would save a step to just go from the repo page, because my pattern is normally fetch/merge from the remote log (because I like to see what came in) and then switch to local

There is "fetch" command next to the list of incoming/outgoing commits for your active branch. You do not have to scroll down to the remotes list. Just click "fetch" in the "commits" section and you will see all incoming commits to merge or rebase.
