The test server has logging capabilities but there is no way for the user to turn this on. Right now you have to uncomment a line of code. We should provide a preference to enable debug messages. There should be a preference change listener that updates the log setting on the server so that the server doesn't need to be restarted for changes to take effect.

A preference has been added and takes effect immediately (no server restart necessary).
