Build id: I20120126-1300

I've seen similar issues as to what I reported in bug 352905: typing in some text is then wiped, possibly from a delayed focus notification or something. Some of the situations where I've seen it:

  * Opening the Preferences dialog: I'll start to type into the filter box, but the text is then wiped
  * After Quick Outline: I'll Ctrl-Shift-T to open-type, hit enter to select the type, then Ctrl-O to bring up quick outline and start typing. But the Ctrl-O hasn't yet taken effect, and so I end up overwriting the type name in the editor.

Remy reports seeing the same issue with Alt-Shift-Q, Q (Show View?)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
