Shot at a possible fix
At a first glance it doesn't look like the usual test order issue we've seen on JRE 7. A possible problem could be a timeout. The attached patch increases the timeout for two of the tests. Patch released to master and merged into integration. > A possible problem could be a timeout.

This did not help. We'd have to debug this directly on the machine.
Chris any idea what could be wrong or what's the best approach to debug this?
Kim, did you change something on the test machine? The tests passed on the latest N-build: http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/N20120129-2000/testresults/html/org.eclipse.ua.tests_win32.win32.x86_7.0.html No. However, the build machines were rebooted over the weekend, due to the power outage. I don't have a good idea as to why those particular 7 tests would be failing. (In reply to comment #5) > Kim, did you change something on the test machine? I don't see any other way than debugging this directly on the build machine. (In reply to comment #8) > (In reply to comment #5) > > Kim, did you change something on the test machine? Kim, is there a way to debug this on the build machine? Created attachment 210546 [details]
Revert previous change and add project specific settings
patch released to master and integration (In reply to comment #11) > patch released to master and integration It looks like applying patches is causing troubles for you every time ;-) My patch contained changes to two files but only one ended up in 'master': http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.ua.git/commit/?id=78942201284c85d2b95ee73cb689a76e91f0d567 Can you apply the next patch (also patches two files)? Thanks! Created attachment 210555 [details]
Clean up
(In reply to comment #13) > Created attachment 210555 [details] [diff] > Fix Note that just cleans up things. It's not "the" fix. Okay, this has been released to master and integration. (In reply to comment #15) > Okay, this has been released to master and integration. It looks like it's only in 'master' (last change in 'integration' is almost two days old): http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.ua.git/log/?h=integration Kim, you still did not commit and push all files. The patch contains: org.eclipse.ua.tests/.settings/org.eclipse.pde.prefs I can't see this in 'master': http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.ua.git/tree/org.eclipse.ua.tests/.settings You probably get hit by bug 345099. okay I tried again (In reply to comment #19) > okay I tried again Looks good now, thanks! How do we proceed with the connection timeout failures? Looks like the Hudson install is now correct and all test pass. |
