Description
Jim des Rivieres
From gaby.wenneker@sap.com Does "table of contents" mean that developers will be able to provide a list of wizard steps the user has to go through (example: http://java.sun.com/products/jlf/at/book/Wizards2.html)? This would really improve the user experience, since it greatly helps in concept understanding and orientation within a wizard (that why it is generally accepted design guideline for wizards). The last idea was to have a solution that did not take up as much real estate as the one that Gaby pointed out - it was going to be a smaller area at the top of the dialog. There is currently no plan to proceed with this item in any upcoming milestones, hence the low priority. Deferred. This is no longer planned for Eclipse |
