Description Alessio Pollero CLA 2012-01-22 06:58:36 EST
Build Identifier: Version: 3.7.1 Build id: M20110909-1335

If i change something in a java source file through JAva Editor and then i run the dub configuration for the current project i get a Dialog that ask me if i want to save modified unsaved files, after that i choose Save and then i get this error :

Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: "org.eclipse.ui.ide".

java.lang.NullPointerException

How can i fix the problem ?

One side effect is that the files won't get saved and i need to save it manually even though i choose save modified files in the dialog.

It is a really bothering problem !
It happens only on OS X.

I'm on OX S Lion.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Edit a file (without saving changes)
2.Run debug configuration for the project
3.Choose save at the dialogbox that ask for saving files

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this. Lots of exceptions happened long before the NPE. It looks like one of them brought the workbench in an inconsistent state.

I'd be happy to look at this more closely if I have more detailed steps to reproduce the problem.

Oh wait. I only tried on Windows 7.

Markus, can you give this a try on the Mac?

Also couldn't reproduce on the Mac.
