Description Corey Ashford CLA 2012-01-20 21:09:25 EST
Build Identifier: M20110909-1335

In the process of creating a new project on a remote machine, if I specify Remote Tools *or* RSE, then click New to create a new connection, fill out the details, then click finish and select this new connection and click Browse, I get a dialog pop up which is blank except for "Info" in the title bar, and a light-bulb graphic on the left side of the dialog, but no text. There's an OK button and if I click it, the process continues without error. No errors are reported in the Error log viewer.

Note, this happens only the first time that the connection is used. So to reproduce the error, you must create a new connection (which can be to the same remote machine).

I will attach a short video showing the behavior.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch to the Remote C/C++ perspective
2. New -> Remote C/C++ project
3. Give the project a name
4. Select Remote Tools for the Remote Provider
5. Click the New... button to create a new connection.
6. Fill out the new connection info for a valid remote machine
7. Click finish
8. Select the new connection just created
9. Click browse
10. Notice the blank dialog
11. Click OK
12. Observe that it finished successfully.
