As indicated in bug 361067 in comment 5 and comment 6, there _might_ be some issue with the promote script or perhaps permissions on file system?

Just wanted to capture the issue here. The problem (of some extra files being left around?) did not seem to cause any real problem ... but ... might be a sign of larger problem?

Perhaps, in future, if someone else happens to promote a build, the output could be captured so it can be studied for any unusual messages ... using something like the following (and attach promoteout.txt output here).

/promote.sh -dsczp orbit-I 2>&1 | tee ~promoteout.txt

console output from recent "promote"

attaching some of my output here, when I run the script, in case we ever need a "reference".

We no longer use the same build system as in the past, let alone the same promotion script so this isn't really an issue.

Marking as CLOSED (WONTFIX) (more like CANTFIX).
