1.Set New text file line delimiter Unix in Window->Perferrence->Gernarate->Workspace->New text file line delimiter , Unix.
2.Create a new xml file
3.Have Window line delimiter

Bug 358416 was already opened a few months ago. It will not be available until Indigo SR2 is released. Also, for the future, this wouldn't classify as a critical issues since there's no severe performance problems, crashes, or loss of data.
