Error Log
Am am using Android SDK with Eclipse, when i try to update my SDKs I Get the following Error [2012-01-13 17:05:44 - SDK Manager] Fetching https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addons_list-1.xml [2012-01-13 17:13:44 - SDK Manager] ERROR: Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addons_list-1.xml, reason: Malformed reply from SOCKS server [2012-01-13 17:13:44 - SDK Manager] Fetched Add-ons List successfully [2012-01-13 17:13:44 - SDK Manager] Fetching URL: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository-5.xml [2012-01-13 17:17:27 - SDK Manager] ERROR: Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository-5.xml, reason: Malformed reply from SOCKS server [2012-01-13 17:17:27 - SDK Manager] ERROR: Loading source failed: org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Widget is disposed [2012-01-13 17:29:45 - SDK Manager] ERROR: Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository-5.xml, reason: Malformed reply from SOCKS server [2012-01-13 17:29:45 - SDK Manager] Done loading packages. I tried to change the setting to Manual under network Setting as shown in this Pic http://i.stack.imgur.com/vB5KH.jpg I have attached the whole log & error log which i Got from Help ==> About Eclipse ==> Installation Details ==> Configuration Please solve this issue, am not able to connect to Internet from Eclipse which is Mandatory for me. From the log you attached it seems that you have a problem with your secure storage. This may be the reason why your proxy setting cannot be ready correctly. Try some advice from "Resolving problems" section from this link: http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.user%2Freference%2Fref-securestorage-start.htm Than try to set up you proxy again. Tried accordingly, still not getting connected... I forgot to mention, The internal browser within the Eclipse is working.. It is not fetching the Updates & 3rd party plugins... The log you attached gives us two information: 1. The secure storage is not working correctly 2. Proxy properties are not read correctly Because proxy properties are stored in secure storage I assumed those problems are connected. Please attach a new log and I'll see if you fixed your secure storage and if information about wrong proxy properties are still present. Created attachment 209962 [details]

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag. |
