Description

Actually I think the problem is here is the error message. I am pretty sure I did not have the remote repo initialized. *** Bug 369768 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I've just successfully pushed a commit to https://github.com/zaza/test.git . So pushing over https works. (In reply to comment #1) > I am pretty sure I did not have the remote repo initialized. I've tried that. Created a brand new repo on Github, init'ed a repo in Orion, added a remote (https://zaza@github.com/zaza/new.git) and finally "Pushed All" from the repo details page. I was then asked for password, and when entered the operation finished successfully. Please reopen if this is reproducable for you, but please provide the exact steps you used to produce the problem. btw, I spotted bug 369947, so be careful when initing a repo in Orion. The steps are listed on the page linked in Bug 369768 - Can't push after git init http://wiki.eclipse.org/Orion/How_Tos/Init_repository_and_push_to_github John, if you run Orion locally, could you try the latest Orion build? I can see the issue with my GitHub repo on Orion running locally, but the same GitHub repo does not cause any problems to my team mates. Which version are you running and which version are your teammates? I'm running 1/24 I think. jjb I was successful today using self-hosted from git pulled last night. |
