ditto. I my case, I let it "expire" ... but, can still login to bugzilla with "old" one, at least bugzilla (haven't tried other systems). We must be under "holiday rules". :) I experience the exact same issue on Windows 7 with Firefox and IE. Miles, David, does it work if you use the new account/password facility? https://dev.eclipse.org/site_login/ Why yes, it does. :) (In reply to comment #3) > Miles, David, does it work if you use the new account/password facility? > > https://dev.eclipse.org/site_login/ Me too. That page/dialog allowed me to change it. I used my email address and old password to login, followed the "change name, email, or password" link, and 1) it remembered by old password! (yeay!) and 2) had new password filled in with something (starred out) which I just pasted over, with my new password (in both boxes, for confirmation) and 3) it took it! 4) I then tested logging on to "portal" using my committer id (not email) and that worked! ... I'll try cvs later :) So, guess old "tools" route needs to be redirected? And/or instructions in "about to expire" email changed (quoted below) since it currently mentions "tools" route and committer id .. maybe id doesn't matter?) = = = = To change it, please connect to http://portal.eclipse.org using your CVS/SVN/Git credentials(not your bugzilla credentials), then find the '[tools]' link located in the 'Eclipse Projects' widget, and use the Change My Eclipse.org Password feature. = = = = Good to know. I'm not sure what's borked with the Portal password change thing, but I'll remove it, redirect it and change the notification email to point you to the right place. I believe that this more correctly belongs with the Website now that we've moved to an SSO solution. I haven't removed the entry from the portal, but the old Committer Tools password reset now sends you to the site login reset, and the email message has been updated. |
