I offer to maintain the bundle.

I've just stumbled over this old bug via Googling.. and think this old could probably be closed, my 2 cents:

* noticed that my eclipse-dsl-kepler-R actually has a org.apache.commons.primitives_1.0.0.201306110846.jar.. not entirely sure how it got there (I haven't checked Orbit), but having a Bundle-Version: 1.0.0.201306110846, it looks like someone somewhere recently added this.

* having said this, https://code.google.com/p/guava-libraries/wiki/PrimitivesExplained may be a better option nowadays

Johannes,

Did we somehow miss this ... and your kind offer to maintain it?

If so, apologies.

Still interested in putting in Orbit? Or, do you agree there are better alternatives, and if anything they should be used by Eclipse projects (and put in Orbit)?

[I checked, and don't see in Orbit, but projects can have 3rd party software in their own repos, in some circumstances.]

Oh, and I see just now assigned to Marcel Bruch ... anyone know the history of this?
Comment 4 Marcel Bruch CLA 2013-09-18 01:00:37 EDT
We (Code Recommenders) contribute this bundle. We still use commons.primitives in at least one plugin. We have to review whether we still need it. For the parts we used some time ago, Guava is not a suitable replacement. This may have changed.

I'll reinvestigate in ~December/January for Luna if no one requires me to do it earlier.
