I'm creating a composite in which i want to add and remove children dynamically. I'm able to add children. For removing children I'm using "dispose()" method but I'm not able to remove the children.

This is not a bug and has nothing to do with PDE.  Please direct questions to the forms (www.eclipse.org/forums/) or IRC.

Remember to call layout() on the composite after disposing a control.
