Setup: Indigo Java package SR1

When I open a random XML file, m2e is activated which causes the download of the index.

Steps to reproduce:
- Create a Simple Java project
- On the project, New > Other > XML > XML File. 
- Type in a name, let the editor open.
- Notice the "updating index" progress at the bottom

The problem is severe enough to justify 1.0 SR2.
