So you're looking for some ways to filter the search a bit so it pulls back a subset of the schemas as opposed to all schemas? I think you can do this now by applying filters to the root schema node and selecting "Properties" and then specifying an expression or selecting particular schemas in the list. That said, I'm not sure that this will aid in reducing your 4 minute (ouch!) query time by much if any. Can you give it a shot to see if it helps at all? Also, can you tell us whether you're using the default Oracle support in DTP or are using the Oracle-provided DTP plug-ins? (The Oracle plug-ins are available here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/eclipse/overview/index.html and may be a bit more optimized for your needs.) |
