Susan we were chatting once that maybe a popup showing a page with the most important commit details would be better than a tray we have at the moment. Do you think this is the right way to go? If so, Tomek could work on that once the commit page (bug 360472) is ready.

I think that once we have the commit page, the commit "link" should be used to take the user to the page.  So having a "summary hover" in advance of that would be nice.  Kind of like the operations hover which can show you the most important things and then you can go the page if you need more.

I would love to have the commit SHA in the hover so I can easily copy/paste it without having to go anywhere.
