Description Helmut J. Haigermoser CLA 2011-12-21 11:54:04 EST
Build Identifier:

The console preference page features a header that turns red when provided values are not acceptable. However, with some easy steps the header can be tricked into acknowledging the settings even though they are incorrect. The Apply button can't be fooled that easily so the header should be aligned with that

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Console preferences (Run/Debug->Console)
2. Delete tab width value "8" so that the text is empty: Header turns red: Tab width must be...
3. Change Console Buffer Size to 8000 (delete trailing zero): Header turns OK, Apply is still not enabled (which is correct, the tab size is still empty)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Still the same and should be rather easy to fix.
