Try the following steps:
1. Open a file in an editor from a file system tree of a target.
2. Close eclipse without closing the editor.
3. Start eclipse again. The file is left open.
4. Try to edit the file and save the file with the option "auto save" on.
5. Open this file on the target.
You'll the content is not synchronized with the content in the editor.
