Hello,

currently, all developers in our teams have to manually configure each Git repository, after cloning. In our case, the push refspec always needs to be customized for every clone.

Helpful would be support for automatic configuration in the clone wizard. I don't know, if it should be implemented directly in EGit, or if EGit could at least offer an extension point.

Maybe this feature request can be seen as an addition to Bug 361251 (allow to search for repositories before cloning).

We've got the same requirement. By now I've tweaked the GerritConfigPage to fit to our defaults.
