The standalone pivot tests do not work as plugin tests. Fix them.

They do now in bug/318092 with additional Editor open tests to smoke test dynamic guice problems too.

Unfortunately the Xtext editor open smoke tests fail on e4. Bug 367820 raised.

From 367820#c15 it would appear that we need a Window Manager on Hudson. metacity is suggested.

bug/366990 works for our tests job.

I've just merged it into the master and pushed. A Tools N-build is currently running to verify final correctness

If everything goes fine, I'll resolve as fixed.

The following lines were added to the configuration of both tests and tools jobs to make the Xtext (UI-based) plugin tests work:

# window manager for UI tests
metacity --replace --sm-disable &
