I'm not sure what you are asking for ... better docs ? Or some automatic bootstrapping functionality for the tunnel ? See http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/topic/org.eclipse.rse.doc.user/tasks/tbeginlinux.html for simple tunnelling (search for "Firewall"). See bug 195170 for tunnelling in general. I think in your case this should work: ssh gatewayserver "ssh -L27127:protectedserver:27127" now connect to gatewayserver:27127 and it will forward to protectedserver. I'm marking this as enhancement request for now, but please specify what you were really interested in. |
