On LINUX environment, if I select the R4E preference page, select the uaser tab, create an alias in the participant list, select it and then, select the "Add" participant to that list. The "enter participants Details" dialogue appear, then I can drag the parent window to hide it. Since the last opened dialogue is modal, it prevent me to close the preference page, eclipse seems frozen. In fact the "Enter Participants Details" dialogue has to be found, close ity and then I can close the preference page and eclipse is working fine. 
The point here is the modal dialogue can be hidden in LINUX environment, but works fine in window environment/

This needs to be retested.  As per previous test done, this seems to be an issue only on Solaris.

After investigation, we can move the parent window, but the last modal dialogue (Enter participants details) remains on top. You need to close the modal before having accessto the parent buttons, so it is OK
