Description

The Browser control does not do anything to interfere with the native behavior of this scenario. Does this work for you in stand-alone IE with the same bitness (meaning, if you're running 64-bit eclipse then try this in 64-bit IE, not 32-bit IE)? I wasn't able to reproduce this issue with other 64-bit app on either 32-bit eclipse or 64-bit eclipse. I am using 64-bit winrar, I guess it is winrar that is having problem. I have close the bug. New update: I downloaded notepad2 (64bit) and put it within c:/Program Files/ folder and create a link to the sendto shutcut. I am able to send a txt file to notdpa2 for a 64bit eclipse, but not a 32bit eclipse. I am not able to enter file://c:/mydir URL within IE to see the embedded File Explorer, instead it opens an external File Explorer. I am not sure whether this is an IE issue or eclipse issue. I have reopening this bug. The link in the > menu points to c:\Program Files(x86) instead of C:\Program Files. > > I have a 64bit Win7 machine. > > Steps to reproduce > 1. Open the Internal Web Browser > 2. Set the url to a local folder (i.e file://C:/) > 2. Right click on a file and select a 64bit app to send this file to (i.e > winzip) Above steps work fine for 64bit and 32bit Eclipse 4.7 on Win7.
