In the case that an XML Document unmarshalled through a binder contains prefixes/namespace uris that collide with EclipseLink's internal map of namespaces, some unusual behavior can occur in the resulting document after an update.

Whenever possible, EclipseLink should not override any existing namespace delcarations at a higher level than is required, and should try to use existing namespace prefixes when updating an existing dom.
