The build process currently runs on Windows and has some pretty fixed directory names in it.

The goal of this bug is:

- to be able to easily setup on various machines
- to run on Linux
- to be hosted as a nightly build on build.eclipse.org

NO goal is to actually run the tests (specifically the UI tests) on Linux because that might require some more work, since SWT is pretty different on Windows and Linux in some of its behaviour.
