Description Miles Parker CLA 2011-12-14 18:11:18 EST
1. Add an image link to a mediawiki document. e.g. [[Image:images/Foo.png|bottom]]
2. View the image.
3. Modify the image outside of Eclipse. For example, I resized the image in Apple Preview.
4. Refresh the enclosing project.
5. The image is not updated.

Even when I closed the editor and reopened it, the old image remained. I'm not sure if this is a generic Eclipse issue or something with the way WikiText is loading the image. Restarting the Eclipse IDE naturally did cause the image to properly update.

I forgot to mention. Curiously, even when I changed the image link to something else and then changed it back, the old image was still displayed. Presumably these are cached somewhere..

Thanks for the bug Miles. I've seen this before on Windows, but usually modifying the wiki markup or closing/reopening the editor fixes the problem.

Closed as part of backlog clean-up. Please re-open if you'd like to see this revisited, perhaps with a contribution.
