Old versions of Perf distributed in distros like SLES 10 or Ubuntu 10.04.3 used to send events list to stderr instead of stdout.

I am sending a patch that changes plug-in behavior: check whether Perf list sent events to stdout (is empty) or not.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new Perf launch configuration
2. Switch to the Perf Events tab
3. No events are displayed
