Description Mickael Istria CLA 2011-12-09 06:06:44 EST
When having lots of file in the commit dialog, it is not easy and time-consuming to get an overview of what's in the commit, and to select things to include/exclude.

Using a FilteredTree with Checkboxes would really improve readability and ergonomy of this wizard, and save a lot of time.

Hi,

Just to clarify, are you suggesting changing the layout from table to tree (showing folders/sub-folders) and adding filtering?

Yes, that's exactly what I'd like to see.

Pushed https://git.eclipse.org/r/8934

This introduced the filter and changes the UI to a tree. It does not introduce the folder structure but allows to build on that.
