Description Andrew Overholt CLA 2011-12-08 15:54:02 EST
Build: I20111206-1015
Fedora 16 x86_64 (GNOME 3.2)

I have a high resolution monitor but Eclipse doesn't open wide enough to have a single-icon-height toolbar, instead having *almost* all icons in the default Java perspective toolbar being visible. If the default startup width (I don't know where this is determined) was a bit wider (50 pixels?), everything would fit and there wouldn't be wasted vertical space.

If we go with what Brian suggested in bug 366110 then we should make sure that the generated window has a "reasonable" default width value.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
