From a little bit outdated stack it seems that there was a problem with PUT on the Clone resource; the method is used to checkout a branch or tag. I will try to have a look at it next week. I have no idea why I thought it was a PUT request when the stack trace clearly states the NPE was in GitCloneHandlerV1#handleGet method. I20111206 I found this in the server log on orion.eclipse.org.
