Description Patrick Tasse CLA 2011-12-08 14:26:19 EST
In the Open Trace handler, if the trace type plugin extension element declares a default editor with an editor id, the specified editor is used to open the trace.

Since the IDE default editor is not set at this time, then later opening the trace (for example by clicking a saved bookmark) will open the trace in a different editor, for example the Eclipse Text Editor.

The solution is to set the IDE default editor when successfully opening a trace with the plugin-specified editor. This can only be done if the trace resource is a file.
