The last build toward 4.2M4 is http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/I20111208-0200/index.php

Yes, we need to run another 3.8 build to incorporate new jetty bundles but I'm working on that :-)
Comment 1 Paul Webster CLA 2011-12-08 09:16:26 EST
We'll have another 4.2 build later today to pick up 3 fixes in 4.2/Eclipse 4 and the Jetty update if you get it in. But the fixes shouldn't impact the call on I20111208-0200

There seems to be a problem with the auto-tagging script. Latest changes for jdt.ui and jdt.doc.user didn't get picked up. See corresponding message on platforn-releng-dev.

We are one of the projects affected by this issue with the releng
build/tag scripts.

However, our testing with 3.8 M4 build I20111208-1305 and
4.2 build I20111208-2000 showed that this impact is minor
(only insignificant documentation rendering changes) and
does not block us.

All other tests look green, so these milestone builds looks
good to go from JDT/Core p.o.v.

Go from Platform Workspace.
Comment 5 Michael Rennie CLA 2011-12-09 12:30:18 EST

Comment 7 Dani Megert CLA 2011-12-09 14:19:23 EST
The latest build still shows some very bad things going on: after fixing the jdt.doc.user manually in the doc.map, the build script reverted that change back to the old input:

-plugin@org.eclipse.jdt.doc.user=GIT,tag=v20111208-1301,repo=git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/platform/eclipse.platform.common.git,path=bundles/org.eclipse.jdt.doc.user
-plugin@org.eclipse.jdt.doc.isv=GIT,tag=v20111208-1301,repo=git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/platform/eclipse.platform.common.git,path=bundles/org.eclipse.jdt.doc.isv
+plugin@org.eclipse.jdt.doc.user=GIT,tag=v20111205-0928,repo=git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/platform/eclipse.platform.common.git,path=bundles/org.eclipse.jdt.doc.user
+plugin@org.eclipse.jdt.doc.isv=GIT,tag=v20111205-2016,repo=git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/platform/eclipse.platform.common.git,path=bundles/org.eclipse.jdt.doc.isv

Hopefully this did not happen to any other bundle.

Status:

I am holding on giving Equinox status until I can verify that the javadoc for the jetty references has been fixed see bug365354 comment35. I will do that latter tonight after the build has completed.
Comment 9 Srikanth Sankaran CLA 2011-12-09 16:56:47 EST

Comment 10 Thomas Watson CLA 2011-12-09 20:31:49 EST
