Is this still a problem? There were a few other reports (in early December) about pack.gz files with bad checksums. Kim removed those files. I just tried to install releng tools from this site and it works for me without a problem. If this is still an issue, please re-open. |
Build ID: I20111206-1015 (4.2m4 candidate) I launched I20111206-1015, installed a couple extensions, then tried installing the releng.tools from http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.8-I-builds The install progress seems to start loading relengtools.jar.pack.gz (61kb) from http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.8-I-builds/I20111129-1024/plugins/ but when it seems to be done, it constantly re-starts at 0 and doesn't terminate. Canceling the download doesn't show anything in the errorlog. See also bug 365908 for the configuration I'm using.
