We're going to need REST API for "git apply" to apply patches to selected repositories. In the future this could be extended to applying patches to any resource, but that's a different story (see bug 361425 for more general approach).

Fixed with 1afeb07812807b1228e081b9ca0082cad2b93a7a. I will open a separate bug, targeted to .4M2 to make error handling more robust.
