In http://egit.eclipse.org/r/#change,4618 for EGit I referenced a constant from org.eclipse.team.core which has been added in 3.6. EGit has a dependency on org.eclipse.team.core which is specified like this: [3.4.0,4.0.0). I wonder if there is a way to detect this kind of situation and suggest to bump the dependency version e.g. to [3.6.0,4.0.0) in this case. This would save me the embarrassment of http://egit.eclipse.org/r/#change,4711
