Description Thomas Watson CLA 2011-12-01 14:00:47 EST
Fro OSGi R5 a new org.osgi.framework.VersionRange type is being introduced. This should normally not introduce any issues, but in equinox we already have the org.eclipse.osgi.service.resolver.VersionRange type. The addition of the org.osgi.framework.VersionRange type may introduce compile ambiguity if a java file imports both the org.osgi.framework and the org.eclipse.osgi.service.resolver packages.

I'm going to hold off on this until after next week (M4). Really should give a longer amount of time for folks in the release train to react to this addition.

I've fixed the code in p2 (Bug 366383) and pde/build (Bug 366384).
Curtis, can you look at the other PDE errors?
Comment 6 DJ Houghton CLA 2011-12-12 09:39:43 EST
Ankur has fixed the pde.ui problems.
