Sometimes we decide that a simple state should become a composite state. In that case, we can add a region on the simple state and it can then own states. But currently it is not possible to move directly states already existing outside of the composite state into this composite state.

Workaround : move those states through the model explorer between their current region and the composite state region, move associated transitions and drag and drop those states and transitions into the composite state. Quite long...

It is now possible to drag an existing state into a composite state (provided that composite state has a region and that this region is visible in the diagram).
