We use the plugin Memory Analyser to find the memory leak
Steps to reproduce :
1/ Compare 2 uml files (do this 3 times to find easily the problem)
	2/ Close all opened editors
3/ Use Memory Analyser to do a heap dump
-> these are 36 UMLResource in Memory whereas all editors are closed

Tested on EMF Compare Version: 1.2.1.v20110913-0926

Can you correct this bug for the next service release?

The fixes had too much impact to be included in a service release.

As 1.3 have the same compatibility grid than 1.2, you might want to try latests 1.3 integration builds which are fixing most of the known leaks.
