There is currently a Smoothness of the line modifiable, but that still looks ugly for State Machine Diagram and transitions to the same state.

Look at attached examples of the current rectangular and smooth transitions. Also have a look at the rounded example. The rounded connection could be used for transitions between different states too.

I am looking forward to see Eclipse Luna with Papyrus 1.0.0 then :-)
