Debugging Rhino remotely does not download the latest source code to the External JavaScript Source folder unless the code throws an exception. That's the event when the source is downloaded and persisted. If the code updated remotely the source is never updated locally if it's persisted in the External JavaScript Source folder. I have detailed description of how to reproduce in the attachment.
