Received this on jetty-8 master startup:

System Property [org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.stderr.DEBUG] has been deprecated! (Use org.eclipse.jetty.LEVEL=DEBUG instead)

Looks like same would occur for jetty-7 master too.

Seems the jetty-distribution/src/main/resources/start.ini file needs to be updated with the latest way to enable DEBUG.

Fixed in master (jetty 7.6)
Allowing merge from master to jetty-8 (at later date) to carry this change over to jetty-8.
